Olaplex Treatment
An Olaplex treatment works at a molecular level to repair the broken bonds inside your hair – the ones snapped by bleach, colour, heat tools and everyday wear. It's not a heavy conditioner or mask; it's a bond-building system that makes hair genuinely stronger, smoother and less prone to breakage. Whether you're booking it as an add-on to your colour or as a standalone pick-me-up between appointments, it's a quick, effective way to turn brittle, tired hair into hair that feels healthier and behaves better.

What happens during your Olaplex treatment
The treatment itself is straightforward and takes place at the backwash. Here's the typical process:
- Your stylist will shampoo and cleanse your hair thoroughly, then towel-dry
- No.1 Bond Multiplier is applied and left to work for around 5–10 minutes
- After a light rinse, No.2 Bond Perfector is applied generously through mid-lengths and ends
- That sits for another 10–20 minutes, then we rinse, shampoo and condition
- The whole thing adds roughly 15 minutes to your appointment, so it fits easily alongside a cut, blow-dry or colour service
Because it works internally rather than just coating the surface, your hair will feel lighter and stronger rather than weighed down.
Who benefits most from Olaplex
Olaplex is safe for all hair types and textures, but it really shines when hair has been through the wringer:
- Colour-treated or bleached hair that's starting to feel rough or snappy
- Heat-styled hair that's lost its bounce and shine
- Hair that's been relaxed, permed or chemically straightened
- Fine or fragile hair that breaks easily
- Even virgin hair can benefit if it's naturally weak or prone to damage
If your hair is very compromised, one treatment won't work miracles – you'll likely need a series of salon visits plus at-home care to see the full turnaround. But many clients notice an immediate improvement in how their hair feels and handles.
Keeping the results going
Olaplex repairs bonds, but it doesn't make your hair indestructible. To get the most from your treatment:
- Use at-home Olaplex products between salon visits (we stock the full range and can talk you through what suits your hair)
- Dial back the heat tools where you can, and always use a heat protectant
- Space out heavy chemical services – your stylist will help you plan a schedule that keeps your hair strong
- Keep up with regular trims to clear away any ends that are past saving
Think of Olaplex as part of a bigger plan for healthier hair, not a one-and-done fix. Our team are happy to chat through what your hair needs during your free 15-minute consultation – just give us a ring or pop into the salon in Brighouse.
