Your stylist will start with a quick chat about what you're after—length, shape, how much time you have for styling at home—then recommend a cut and finish to suit. Here's what follows:

• Hair is shampooed and conditioned with formulas suited to your hair (dry, oily, colour-treated, or damaged)
• A custom cut tailored to your desired style, face shape, and how your hair naturally sits
• Blow dry using round or flat brushes to create smoothness, volume, waves, or sleek straightness
• Finishing touches with heat tools (if needed) and styling products—serums, creams, or spray—for hold and shine
• Home-care advice and product recommendations so you can recreate the look yourself

The whole appointment takes around 45 minutes, though very long, thick, or curly hair may need a little longer.

Making it last and looking after your hair

A professional blow dry can last several days if you look after it. Here's how to get the most from your finish:

• Keep it dry—avoid rain, steam, and heavy sweating; use a shower cap when bathing
• Sleep on a satin pillowcase to reduce friction and preserve smoothness
• Refresh with dry shampoo at the roots between washes
• Use sulfate-free shampoo and a conditioner suited to your hair type when you do wash
• Apply heat protectant before blow drying at home, and use similar styling products to those your stylist chose

If your hair is very curly, coarse, or textured, your stylist will adjust the products, brush choice, and technique to minimise frizz and work with (or create) your curl pattern. If your hair is fragile or damaged, ask about adding a deep-conditioning or strengthening treatment during the service for better results and less breakage.
