How your French plait appointment runs

You will be styled on dry hair, so it is best to arrive with hair already dried and detangled. Your stylist will agree where you want the plait to sit, then braid with consistent tension for a smooth, even look. If you have layers or very silky hair, a little product may be used to help the plait hold.

Keeping your French plait neat afterwards

Try not to over-handle the braid, as this loosens the structure and creates frizz. If you want it to last longer, sleep with the plait supported and avoid rubbing at the hairline. To refresh, smooth lightly over the top and re-secure the elastic if it starts to slip.
