Keeping your Root Tap looking clean between visits

To maintain the blend, avoid frequent high-heat styling at the root and use colour-safe shampoo. If you are blonde, a purple shampoo used occasionally can help keep brassiness down, but overuse can dull the tone.

As the root tap fades, it does so softly, so you are less likely to get a hard line returning suddenly.
