A Men's Wash & Cut gives you more than a quick trim. You'll get a consultation to discuss the style you want, a wash with professional Keune shampoo and conditioner chosen for your hair type, a precise cut, and a finish with products that suit your lifestyle. Our stylists will show you how to keep your hair looking great at home, so you're not left guessing what to do after you leave.

What Happens During Your Appointment
Your stylist will start with a quick chat about what you're after — length, shape, whether you want something low-maintenance or happy to spend time styling each morning. Then:
- Shampoo and scalp massage: We'll wash your hair (usually twice) to remove oils, product build-up and any daily grime, with gentle massage movements to refresh your scalp and improve circulation
- Conditioning: Applied mainly to the mid-lengths and ends to smooth the hair, reduce tangles, and make cutting easier
- The cut: Using scissors, clippers, or a combination depending on your style — whether that's a fade, textured crop, or something longer and layered
- Styling and finish: Blow-dried and finished with the right product (wax, clay, pomade, cream or spray) to define your style and give you that fresh-from-the-salon look
You'll leave with clear advice on how to recreate the style yourself and when to book your next cut (usually every 3–6 weeks for short styles).
Who It's For
This service suits anyone who wants their hair to look and feel cleaner, sharper, and easier to manage. It's ideal if:
- You use a lot of styling products and need a proper cleanse before the cut
- You want a style that suits your face shape and daily routine, not just a generic short-back-and-sides
- You'd like advice on which products to use at home and how to apply them without overdoing it
- You have scalp concerns (sensitivity, dandruff, thinning hair) and want a stylist who'll choose gentle products and adapt the technique
If your hair is longer or particularly thick, mention it when you book so we can allow enough time. And if you have any mobility or neck issues, just let your stylist know — we'll adjust the basin position to keep you comfortable.
Keeping Your Style Between Cuts
Your stylist will talk you through how often to wash (daily shampooing can dry out your scalp, so sometimes less is more), which products work for your hair type, and how much to use. A little styling product goes a long way — too much and you'll end up with greasy, heavy hair.
For most short men's styles, you'll want to come back every 3–6 weeks to keep the shape tidy. If you're growing it out or have a longer style, you can stretch that a bit further. Your stylist will let you know what makes sense for your cut.
